We show the project's recorded spending as a total, with its reporting date. The per-hoodie model separately explains the direct costs of making, transporting and selling a hoodie, alongside an estimated share for running GOODCALL, founder earnings and tax.
The public dashboard carries the project total. The homepage shows the working model for one hoodie.SRC 01SRC 03
How much has the project cost so far?
The figure below is the same total recorded project spending shown on the dashboard. Own time is excluded. Read the reporting period alongside the amount: the total covers spending recorded through that date, not any costs incurred since then.SRC 01SRC 02
The same recorded project total as the public dashboard, calculated from its data file.
The total comes from GOODCALL's own records. The public dashboard shows the current recorded project costs and their reporting date. It does not establish the cost of producing one hoodie.
What does one hoodie need to cover?
The working model is a separate planning view. The figures below reproduce the current homepage assumptions. They remain provisional until the actual product, supplier terms, quantity and selling conditions have been confirmed.SRC 03
| Part | Working value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Make: garment, finishing and packing | About €25 | Goal / estimate |
| Move and sell: logistics, fulfilment and payments | About €12 | Goal / estimate |
| Estimated share for GOODCALL operating costs and development | About €12 | Goal / estimated allocation |
| Founder earnings | €8 | Goal / not a recorded payment |
| Tax | Not finalized | Goal / depends on the final selling setup and destination |
| Retail price | €65–€79 | Goal / not a binding offer |
The retail range is a planning goal, not an exact reconciliation of finalized cost lines. No production invoice, tax calculation or confirmed margin is presented here.
Making, transporting and selling the hoodie create direct costs. The roughly €12 operating-cost share is a planning estimate of what each hoodie should contribute towards running GOODCALL and development. It is not a measured cost caused by each hoodie or the result of dividing past project spending by a unit count.
The goal range is not a promise that every assumption is already validated. If confirmed inputs change, the model needs an update before someone is asked to place an order.
How the Scale Dividend affects future prices
As GOODCALL grows, we pass on production savings through lower prices once those savings are available and reliable. If manufacturing costs rise, we may also need to raise prices.
Why the project total is not a unit cost
Setup and development spending can support a batch, later revisions or the brand itself. The amount that should be allocated to one unit depends on which costs are included and how many units are actually produced. That decision has not been finalized.
A waitlist count cannot supply the missing quantity. Joining is free and does not create an order. Dividing the project total by subscribers would therefore describe neither the manufacturing cost nor a confirmed selling margin.
All recorded project spending shown as one total, with a reporting date.
Direct product costs, an estimated operating-cost allocation and the founder earnings goal.
The final price and batch conditions a customer can review before choosing whether to order.
What has to happen before orders open?
The supplier is in India. The public status record says Germany is the first market and that demand is being assessed before the final sampling round.SRC 01
Material and construction goals must be checked against the sample, while costs must be checked against the resulting supplier terms and batch plan. We also need to confirm the conditions for selling and delivery before the first sale. This article does not announce that those steps are complete.
For the current record, use the dashboard. For the product requirements, use the public specification. To hear when the confirmed price and opening details are ready, join the free waitlist. The waitlist is an invitation to review the final terms later, not a purchase today.
